The Red Cross Babysitting Course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that youth feel when caring for younger children.
Please note that if youth are taking transit to the Doors Open grade 4/5 program, bus registration is no longer required.
This conference focuses on getting girls from grade 5-9 active by increasing confidence to try new things, making new friends, and learning new skills! A large variety of sessions focused on physical activity, fitness, and health will be offered throughout the day. Register early to avoid disappointment.

A fun, interactive program aimed at building physical literacy for kids aged 5-7. Through play-based learning, the program focuses on developing fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, throwing, and balancing, while fostering confidence and a love for physical activity.

Want to improve your Pickleball game and learn some new skills? Join In A Pickle's Leslie and Sean from Edmonton! These clinics will focus on the fundamentals and mechanics of shot making to help participants build a solid foundation for their game. This 2-hour session will include instruction, drills and mentored game play suitable for all players. Novice and Intermediate Clinics available. Please note, some play experience is required for the novice clinic.
Participants will design a glowing lantern using layers of delicate napkins and Mod Podge. The process is beginner-friendly, sustainable, and results in a beautiful, handmade lantern that can be used as home décor or a thoughtful gift.

Real-world scenarios often call on children to respond to challanges. The Stay Safe program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth's capaity to improve their own safety.
Get ready for a morning of family fun! One Sunday a month, we will set up our inflatable bouncer with slide, along with a craft and other activities in the Fieldhouse.
Children must be accompanied by parents/guardians for the duration of the program.
Surf Nerf & Turf Night Out Get ready for an evening of high-energy fun! We will go swimming, eat pizza, play nerf wars and more fieldhouse fun.
This interactive and fun camp incorporates fieldhouse games, crafting, and swimming to teach the concepts of Why Try and help teens navigate life’s ups and downs.
Join artist Erin Rollheiser for an Easter themed introduction to window painting. In this four-hour workshop, Erin will teach you some of the tips and tricks she uses for creating quality window art. After some practice time, you will finish off the workshop by helping paint windows at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre.
Love sports, but not ready to be tied down to one? Want to stay active and see what’s out there? Sign up for our NEW multisport program! We will explore a different sport each night, including soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, basketball, badminton, and floor hockey. This will include rule introduction, skill development and game play where applicable! Led by AJMC Program Leaders.
